Criteria for a fixed blade.

So, I'm looking for a fixed blade knife, that I can baton with, featherstick with, and other bushcraft tasks. I want it to be under 70$, have a good steel, and a wood handle would be nice for aesthetics and comfort.

Just be wary the knife can come loose in the sheath but I love the No1 I have.

I agree with HillBill, Mora Classic No. 2, it'll do everything you ask.

the boker that sxmolloy linked to looks like a superb knife for the money BTW, but still somewhere between 5 and 10 times the price of a mora/hultafors. get something cheap first, and something pretty later

I have recently bought a Mora Clipper

Does not have a wooden handle but for a first knife i want to learn techniques and how to take care of the blade before getting something more aesthetically pleasing.
