'Credit crunch' mobile phone on sale for £2.88

Have to buy £10 of phone credit with it so really £12.88. But means could stash one in bottom of the rucksack for emergencies.

I got an old ericsson R310 and ive never found anything better yet. . . but shes old and a bit devoid of features

I lost my phone on the last welsh meet ,and haven't missed it at all so even £2.88 would be a waste for me.It's like going back in time to when we didn't have them .However did we manage?

I bought a pay as you go phone, about 12 years ago. It was apparently an: "essential safety tool" (according to senior A.C.F. staff members)
It fell out of my pocket one morning, as I was getting into my car, I inadvertently reversed over it and that was that (about 10 years ago!)
I hate calling mobiles, I honestly believe the charges are extortionate.

All that said; for £12.88, I must admit I'm seriously thinking about picking one up, as part of my slowly improving kit list.

Can't go wrong for that money. I've got a RAZ phone but the battery life is crap so I take an old Nokia camping
