Slightly off topic but the same standard pop bottle cap is a perfect fit for Platypus bags (and some similar ones like FlexiFlask, if anyone remembers them?).

I wanted to try this but didn't have any copper pipe - but found out that glueing two tops back to back makes a case long enough for swan vestas.

Ok its not as strong as the copper version, but another option

Yeah i thought it might be, from what you said in first post.
I was surprised when I tried it at how much it could hold.

Although I'll make a copper version as sson as I get to raid my dad's garage, because I think your copper one looks better.
