i just need convincing that the rollocking from SWMBO will be worth it :)
Take her out and fake a breakdown, then after an hour, offer her a brew... tis our womanly weakness and she'll be as delighted with it as you will be!! Perfect for a fast 2 cups with burn time for a few chipolatas too, I can't recommend it highly enough but shop around your surplus stores, mine was £8 unissued, with all the bits plus an extra fry pan =)

It's a no brainer, i use my all the time

With my crusader for a quick brew up

and to make lunch, you need the sticks if you use the lid as a small pan as the handle gets d*mned hot

sure the burner is not a Trangia, think mine is made by Svea and to be honest - so what if it's not a genuine Trangia?, it's affected by the ambient temps so can be slow, but ive always figured, im out there to enjoy myself, so what's the rush?.

Just get one, you wont regret it

I have one, and love it. Has that lovely heavy duty military vibe to it, and burns like a blast furnace once up to temp.

As long as you keep whatever it is your cooking moving in the pan it doesnt stick, even when it does though it still cleans up grand and without a great deal of effort

Surplus & Outdoors are superb, Surplus & Adventure are, well see numerous other threads about them
