carry case for bucksaw

hiya guys
Managed to get hold of a woodlore bucksaw but need a case for it....any suggestions apart from the hideously expensive, gold plated woodlore version?? (it does look rather nice though!)

been thinking about this myself, i was thinking of either using a fishing rod case or snooker cue case

I've got the same need, for a similar bow saw I made recently, currently held closed with a couple of velcro ties but really needs a decent stout bag in case the teeth protrude a bit.

Wonder how heavy or not the ebay one is ? The US one looks just the job but hopefully there may be similar close to home ?

Thats the thought i had its says cloth bag, i tried looking for a canvas one but had no luck

I've put mine in a bit of PVC tubing for now, but its a bit bulky

I'm really liking my Bob's Quick Saw and my Bahco Laplander, and in great part because they are their own carry case.

saw case arrived from the states today! Not bad quality and seems tough enough. No carry straps or attachment loops though. Think the end cost was around £13 inc shipping.
