Cabin, outdoor patio with fireplace etc...any thoughts or ideas?

Hi all,

Any thoughts on how to go about building this or any other thoughts and ideas for little building projects?

That sounds like such a cozy setup! I'd suggest a rustic vibe with lots of natural wood and stone elements for the cabin. You could also add some comfy, oversized furniture for lounging by the fireplace.

I’d say start with picking materials that match the cabin vibe—stone or pavers for the floor work great and last forever. A stone fireplace would totally fit the rustic feel too.

Nice idea for a thread though.

I like some of the outdoor kitchen type ideas. Very practical really, a covered area where one can boil up whatever without turning the kitchen into a Chinese laundry and running with water, or even just stuff that takes slow time, like fomes, or something you don't want stinking up the house.
