Got my stove out a little earlier and found the control knob is missing.
Pother than a pair of pliers can anyone suggest a way to repair it.
So far I have thought of a radiator valve key but that appears to be missing too.

Is it a square ended spindle or a round with a flat on it like amplifier knobs?

Looks like its round with a flat on it, can't see it end on or I would know.
What diameter is it?

If it is I might just have a blue plastic knob that I found kicking about at work still in the back of my van.

Well, on this one the spindle hole is 5.91mm in diameter and the round to flat in the hole is 5.12mm.
The outer part of the knob is 38.78mm at its widest point.
Oh and its blue, most likely of a piece of machinery but I just found it in the yard when I was shuttering the concrete base for a vehicle wash station.

If its any use to you I can pop it in the post for you?

Got to say though, get some Polymorph as well, great stuff, everyone should have some.
Mug full of boiling water, stir in a teaspoon of Polymorph, stir it till it clumps together, remove it and shape it with your fingers.

Wrong shape? Fire it back in the hot water and make it into something else.

Lost chisel end cover? Make one out of Polymorph. No worries.

Thanks for this and the time you have taken but the overall size is way too big.
