Hi all
having recently reacquainted myself with the joys of pressure stove, I have acquired a Optimus 5s that needs some serious TLC

as you can see it needs a good clean and washers etc replacing. It also needs the inner and outer parts of the burner and one of the burner plates would be nice. Following a bit of research it appears to date from the 1930's so at almost 90 years old would be nice to get it running. I know a few of you attending the Bushmoot have these stoves, and hopefully I will be able to pick your brains

Pretty sure others will be along soon Chas, but these people are great and only along the road from you.

@Nice65 / Rich recently visited and has pictures of their shop and more details, but they helped me no end when I was refurbishing an old paraffin stove. :)

Thanks Kevin I used to live just along from where they are in Littlehampton, the shop used to be a Bakers then and made some fine cakes. Will probably pay a visit after the Bushmoot :camping:
