Looks like im ordering a tarp this weekend. Bivi too if I make my mind up
.Just been to my local cotwolds and they have a rab storm bivi for £60.
Seems ok for what I will want it for. Anyone out there use one? Any
others that may be worth checking out?

I have used a British Army Gortex Bivi, modified with a lenghtwise zip, for 20 years all over the world and it's still excellent. I have the RAB bivi which is lighter, but I don't think it is as tough. If your not an ultralightweight camper, you won't regret buying the Army one.

I have a Rab survival zone bivi and it has served me well for years. I paid about £40 though now they are about £50. It is much lighter than an issue bivi and perfect (IMO) under a tarp.

Second the Rab SZ bivi. Perfect for under tarp or in a single skin tent for extra protection.

What tarp did you order in the end?
