I bought an outhaus palmerston 1500 last year. Possibly the most comfortable I have felt outside, but it was too big to take unless I was close to the car. Used it on a few sites where I was pitched right by the car with the other half.

Sold it over the weekend and bought an alpkit elan instead for solo use/ hiking. Will report back to how it is once it arrives and has been used

@Decacraft How did you get on with the Alpkit elan?

I like my Alpkit Elan, but the foot box end needs lifting with an extra minipole to help prevent condensation and external run-off - there's already an external loop for it. I usually use it with a light tarp and put my Thermarest Profile Plus, say 30mm thick, inside. I often shove a small bag of something down the bottom to help keep the foot box open, I have had no problems with condensation but usually sleep with the mesh door open. If the ground is rough or pointy I put something underneath as protection e.g. some Tyvek or similar. The long side zip makes access in/out pretty easy. It's light, quick, and easy to pole up and peg out.
