Guess it will be a couple weeks before its rising up here. Ach well it will give me time to get the mead going beforehand.

Whats the best way of getting the sap out? I have seen various arrangements from using a tube to Mr Mears' way.

Quick knife tip test yesterday whilst walking the dog and it is rising, not full flow but an immediate drip.
