Although he has a camera crew and safety crew, he does jump out of planes and choppers into the sea or skydive and he does eat everything ! Inc. uncooked carcasses etc. Which Ray Mears has not done, on camera at least. Just like Les Stroud, they are different. Les Stroud is a mix of the two I think. The best Bear Grylls episode was when he was stung by bees as you could see how real it was. I think Les Stroud and Bear Grylls are definite surviors whereas Ray Mears 'Lives' in the Bush.
Personally I enjoy all three equally.
