Finally got around to shopping up the shots I took on the way.
Starting at Great Asby Scar.
Passing Whinny Hill.
And catching the sunset at Batty Moss.
Not a bad day all in all.

I like that one as well.
Lucky shot really, I was driving towards Birkdale and just saw the light but couldn't stop straight away.
I drove back, set the tripod up and then I saw the cloud bundling up behind it all.
Missed the light in Birkdale though.

You have made an importrant point Wayland, it's all about the light! If you aint got that you aint gotta pic as Dave used to say.

i'd be really intrested in this.
looks like a nice spot and i'd really like to learn some more fieldcraft techiques.
are dogs allowed ?, not a deal breaker if not.
