I slowly transitioned into my barefoot shoes havin been warned by a couple of friends

I've been wearing flat/barefoot shoes and boots for about 5 years now and loving it. My boots are a bit knackered at the moment and need resoled again so I've just gone back to wearing my vivobarefoot/terra plana dharma shoes again.
Last year I tried walking the west highland way in modern hiking boots which killed my feet by the end of day one. switched to my dharmas and walked the rest of the way in comfort without all the foot problems. I live on a farm out in the sticks that's only accessible by a long sharp stony gravel track. If I ran that in my bare feet i'd be walking on stumps by the afternoon so I wear these until I get to better terrain be it road or field where I can then transition to fully barefoot.
Love the look of the offroad barefoot shoes/boots vivobarefoot do, fancy a pair of them one day
