i secretly feel a little warm and fuzzy inside when I see people protesting like that.
The people they so hate are the very people who fought to allow them to protest.
So not only are they ungrateful ****s (please your favourite 4 letter word here)
but they are also ignorant ungrateful ****s (feel free to use a different 4 letter word here if you like)

and that reminds me more than ever why I am so grateful for those that have played a part in protecting us.

Will be at the War Memorial and Parade on Sunday with my Scouts

I observed the 2 minute silence today (and find I think more profoundly on it with each progressing year).
I found myself thinking,,,, why no 2 minute silence for collateral innocent victims of war, or even, say, malaria, starvation or aids deaths victims each year (which hugely outnumber the total deaths of solidiers from both world wars).
I place no greater value on the life of a British soldier than I do to a poor farmers child in Botswana or the wife of an Iraqi shoe repairer blown to smithereens by an allied grenade.
I now tend to think of the two minute silence as a peroid of reflection on the utter stupidity of humanity.
Durulz I know where you're coming from
