What knot do you use to attach guy ropes to your tarp?

I have sorted out the ridge line but can't find anything about attaching guy ropes to the tarp. Lots of ways of attaching the oter end to something on here though.

I do a simple loop on the guy line and then attach by a small caribiner.

That way I'm able to change them round easily depending on the way I pitch my tarp

I do the guy line tensioning knot at the tarp end, and a fixed loop for the tent peg.

It means I don't have to kneel down to re-tension the tarp...I know it's lazy, but hey thats me!

I do the same thing.
I use mini karabiners at all the attachment points, and adjust at that point.
It means I can tie onto trees and still adjust the tension of my tarp.

Slipped sheet bends mostly, unless its clingons, tarpclips or some such, in which case; bowlines.

Seems like there are a few ways to attach the guy's. I will have a fiddle and see which i think i will use the best.

Thanks for all the good advise.

Chris.

i use 3mm tracpac para for my guylines and i attach them using a rethreaded overhand knot. simple to tie, very strong, neat and easy to untie when you need to.
