Following a go at archery at last weekend's Wilderness Gathering, I went to my local archery club this morning with my next door neighbour who is a member.
I managed to at least hit the targets on all but one occasion. Seems that I have a few years' practise to catch up at the local Butts though! :shock:
My neighbour showed me his compound bow and his two longbows, one of which he made himself (he still has the tiller on his garage wall). I would love to have a go but I will need to practise on a recurve bow a few times before I dare use a traditional bow.
