Any expirience of exped pillows?

I've just binned my thermarest camping pillow and am looking for a replacement and spotted these online.

has anyone used one of these exped comfortfoam pillows?
I have heard exped are a very good quality company and thought it might be worth a punt.

I've got a medium air pillow (the red one in the website) and it is really good. It weighs nothing, packs up tiny but is pretty big and I also like the shape which is designed to tuck inside a sleeping bag hood. So not the foam pillow but a very good pillow nonetheless.

I have recently acquired one and find it very comfortable. I used it for just over a week recently and won't be leaving home without it now. I don't know about the experience of others, but having it about 1/3 - 1/2 inflated worked for me.
For years I have slept on rucksacks, bits of clothing shoved into assorted bags and stuffsacks but why, when a good night's sleep is so important and these things weigh next to nothing and are so comfortable?
Perhaps I am just an old git and getting soft

i take it that using your nice soft cold weather kit dry sack as a pillow is not appropriate.

NAR! tried it in the past shoving jumpers and such in a stuff sack but never found it to be as comfortable as a pillow. I've used a thermarest camping pillow for the last 3 years but have never really been satisfied with it; bulky and doesn't loft as much as I would like.
The cat decided today that he would use it as scatching post and has given me an excuse to get something new. I saw these online and thought I would canvas opinions on them as I don't have any experience with exped products

Have tried several other pillows without success and don't like clothes stuffed in bags either. Thoroughly recommend this product. Worth the money for a good nights sleep.

I have tried a couple of cheaper alternatives to the thermarest pillow; a cheap karrimor and a trekmates one both individually and stacked on top of each other. They were £3 each on ebay so i gave them a try.
Also a snugpak one but really they are pretty much the same product just cheaper. They never really seem to loft particularly well after being repeatedly compressed in their stuff sacks despite bring stored uncompressed when in the man cave.
also tried a vango inflatable one too but got neck ache from that one and the material feels strange against your skin.

i think im going to treat myself to an exped one as its prob cheaper in the long run than buying more of these cheaper ones that end up being disapointments.

+1 also for the exped air pillow version. Packs down really small, inflates in about 1.5 breaths and is quite comfy.

I.ve trie lots of camping pillows and have settled on the exped pillow. Fits well inside your sleeping bag hood and has a very small pack size

i've rooted out my occasionally used pillow as it is very good. It's a Cocoon Ultralight air core pillow and weighs in at 105grms. Very comfy and again fits nicely into the sleeping bag hood.

Buy a wiggys sleeping bag and they throw in a free pillow made of their laminated stuff (you can buy one on its own I believe.) Hand down the best pillow out there - washable, loft is guaranteed for life no matter how much or how long you compress it. But most importantly, its incredibly comfortable. Conversely, the ultralite pillow from luxurylite is a real waste of money - it may be inflatable and pack down to nothing, but if it ain't comfy, its useless!
