Advice and Knife recommendations please

Hi

I'm new to the forum and looking for advice.

I'd like to get a good quality, well engineered folding knife for hunting/bushcraft and general use.

I presume I need a blade length of 3" or less? but not sure on the different types of folder available.

I am considering a Camilllus Blaze, a SOG Mini Vulcan, a CRKT Russ Kommer Full throttle framelock!! and maybe a Gerber FAST Draw.

Thoughts and recommendations much appreciated and also suggestions as to where to buy. I read Charity Chimni is popular for puchasing from the States, any problems with tax/import etc?

the unit price of the tenacious is below the duty threshold. you should be fine
The cold steel pocket bushman is getting good reviews too at the moment.
I've got one sitting in a pile of mail at home and I'll be able to play with it next week.

Charity's goods very rarely get any attention from the tax man

Plus, the item excluding postage has to cost more than £18 to begin with to even start incurring any charges.

And finally, why not get a fixed blade?

I'd prefer a folder to go in my pocket when out shooting rather than have knife on a belt.
