Just a line about a new book out by a freind and all round top bloke Mick 'ginge' Tyler called 'A Survival Story'

ISBN: 978-0-9562287-0-3

For those that know Ginge, this will be very welcomed as he allways promised to put his expliots into words, he is one of the 'originals' within the wilderness survival skills business and highly respected amongst his peers.

When he set up the Breakaway Survival School in the early 80's it was the first of it's kind after a full career in the British Army including the SAS and for those that have had the pleasure to spend time, either learning or working with Mick, I'm sure you'll join me in wishing him all the best with the book.

Below is an introduction to the book....

'From a hard childhood in Kent living off the land, long service in the British Army including time as a Para and then in the SAS with exploits around the world, to running his own survival training centre in the Brecon Beacons after demob, Mick Tyler has always been his own man and a survivor. His story unfolds as a life spent doing his bit; uncomplaining, optimistic, making the best of whatever situation he found himself facing, and then passing on the skills he learnt to others in his survival training.'
