Always nice to read of people's impressions and preferences...I think there is much truth in the view that in the right combination, small knives have great utility. Maybe I'm like others and drift around between large and small knives for no particular reason other than how the mood takes me.

A mate has a couple of Ben Orford's and they look to be top class. That's true also of the Bison knives that I own so I'm a little surprised about yours from WSC. Might be good to talk to Dave about it as I'm sure Roger wouldn't be happy if one wasn't quite up to the standard you or he would wish it to be. Be interested to read how things progress on your small knife journey...
