Just wondering if anybody on the forums got their A-level, GCSE, etc results today (not sure when GCSE results come out). I got my AS levels today and am very happy!

My lad gets his GCSE's on the 24th August. I'm getting nervous so I dread to think what he's going through. He's doing his A levels and AS next year.

Well done Biddlesby on your results anyway :red:

Well done Biddlesby mate, im glad your please with what you got!

...and congrats to any of our other members who got exam results today or who has them coming up!

Well done mate.......it's an investment in your future.......that's what I keep trying to persuade my lad anyway ! :lmao:

Good for you mate and good luck to all that are waiting for results, I think the degree ones have already come out but I hope that went well for people as well :grouphug:

Well done Biddlesby - that must a huge weight off your shoulders now.

What`s the future got in store then ? Student loans, roll-ups ciggies, £1 a pint, beans on toast every day for three years. ;)

Congrats

My lad got his GCSE results this morning - 2 x A* - 5 x A's and the rest B's
nothing lower than a B - very proud dad :You_Rock_ :D :D :D
I'll be taking him out for a slap up meal on Saturday evening :p

After all the waiting I got 1 A* 8 A's and 4 B's.

One other thing I'm glad about is that they havent said on the news that exams are getting easier, coming from some boff who hasnt a clue and hasnt even done gcse's.

Well done everyone who has done their exams.

As a teacher I can say he is in a elite minority, congrats to him, and you as a proud dad. Time to buy him a drink with that meal?

Nice one Harry! Congrats - the world is your lobster now! :D

congrats to all who've got the reaults they wanted and well done for all that hard work :35: :35: :35:

I'm the guy responsible in my school for downloading and printing out all the results it's a bit presurised but once there here its a great felling seeing all the teachers peering at what their students got ( they get to see the results the day before ssssh don't tell anyone) and the seeing the faces of the students before and after they open that enevlope great :)

well done all :You_Rock_

in 2 years time i'll be one of those teachers

Well done Spark you did great too. Brilliant results :You_Rock_ I'll definately get him a drink if he wants one richeadon. There's a Fish restaurant in Oxford that we've always talked about going too but never got round to it. (it's pricey by all accounts but he deserves it) and my son likes seafood as much as I do so everybody is happy. He's worked extremely hard for these results and spent many, many hours of revising so he really deserves them. It annoys me when people dumb down the young peoples acheivments by saying that GCSE's and A levels are getting easier. I think rather that the kids are working harder than ever. Well done to all of them who've passed. Next up is A levels, he's doing Philosophy, Higer maths, English Literature and Physics, then after University he wants to join the RAF as an officer. What plans have any of the other young people got on leaving school?

Cheers all, and well done everybody who got their results!

For me it's maths or maths and economics at university. Then, hopefully, off to work for a company in new zealand for a year or so.
