The back on my s3 wasn't fitting properly, I thought I'd broken a clip and left it at that. Last night I noticed some crazing in one place on the back, and thought 'that's odd'
On removing the back cover I discovered that one of the Phillips screws had come undone to such an extent that it was pressing hard on the inside of the cover.
Out with a small screwdriver and GENTLY tightened it back up. Went on to check the others and they all needed nipped up by a turn or two.
Worth a look. Took a minute to do.
