I have the possibility of getting hold of a skookum bush tool in 3V steel. Anyone have any experience of it? Rod's website states that it is more difficult to sharpen with stones than his other steels. If this is the case what would be used instead of water stones?
For information, i would say that I am now at a level where I can sharpen my FGYT/ Duncan knife in 01 steel to a good standard using a DC4 and stropping. My concern is whether I would struggle with the 3V?
Cheers,
Steve.
