At the time of posting this I am just under the 3000 post mark. So to celebrate the upcoming milestone I thought I'd offer a competition with a nice little prize for the winner.

Here's the prize.

It is the 1oz mini flask I showed in the "Pimp my flask" post.

Now here's what you have to do to win it.
Guess what I carry in this.....

Clues: A) It gets used most every day.
B) It is has the element of fire related to it.

First person to post the correct answer wins.
I'll leave this open until around the 13th June (I'm away to Bulgaria on the 16th until the 6th July so I'll anounce the answer before I go).

Good luck, have as many goes as you like.

I was going to say one of those old leather cased tape measures that get used everyday in your work, but the fire element threw that one out. Magnifying glass was my next choice but that's been used already sooooooo I'm going to go with Fob watch, as for the fire element you can use the glass filled with ice to work as a magnifying glass. Somehow.

Alison my partner says it's a compact case. Like a lady uses for face powder. Quite how that relates to fire or that you'd use everyday is a mystery... Ducky.

I'll try and think up some other ideas once I've given it some more thought.

However, having seen the link TeeDee posted above I think he's nailed it.

How about a SAK, the one with everything on it, heavy in the pocket but good on the belt.
You use it to strike your firesteel.
