Mine's just arrived. Working from home you get to be in when the postman calls. :)

Thanks once again for all your efforts, Sandbag.

Arrived today by alternative carriage.

All OK, just the size I wanted as I use on top of the woodbuner to cook dinners, in as well as out!

Cheers

Without wanting in anyway to "teach my grandmother to suck eggs", if its any help to anyone, I did a wee pictorial a while back on re-finishing dutch ovens to a higher standard. Theres nothing at all wrong woth Ronnies (I have one), but with a little work with an electric detail sander and some oil, you can make them really smooth, ffar more no stick etc.

Anyway, if anyone wants me to post it up, I will

Any extra info is always a good thing, thanks for the offer. Sure I'm not the only one interested.

Thanks for that, and thanks to Sandbag for his time in this.

Thanks Red I'll have a look at this. Mine could definitely do with touching up as I cut my knuckles on the edge of the casting as I took it out of the plastic bag
Edit: Ok so this link is just for seasoning, may have to attack the edges with a file first then.

Thanks again to Sandbag for arranging this :You_Rock_

Just signed for mine - many thanks.

The dutch oven I bought in a GB a couple of years ago is just seasoned properly after all this time, I'll do the Red method with the skillet and hot plate.

Thanks for all your efforts, greatly appreciated.
