I have 2 Trangia stoves from the early 1980’s. the stoves are in good condition for their age and differ from their modern (UL) counterparts only by being a heavier gauge aluminium used, and no cut outs for gas stoves.
The strap slots are riveted on, and not stamped out like modern ones.
These would be ideal for someone who works with groups, as they are robust and easy to use.
One stove has had the spirit burner replaced as the cap had seized on, and couldn’t be removed without damaging it.
