Advice on BCB 35l daysack, Snugpack Sleeka pack or German Mountain Pack

Purely personal - the Snugpak shoulder straps are much more comfortable for me and my frame, and it just feels better put together. Probably also helps that Snugpak are "local" and I paid a lot less than the Heinnie price...!

Advice on BCB 35l daysack, Snugpack Sleeka pack or German Mountain Pack

Is the BCB one this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BCB-CA019A-LIGHTWEIGHT-DAYSACK-35L-BLACK-/302059002691?hash=item46541e9b43:g:X9EAAOSwkl5Xdm6B I have both the Snugpak and the BCB. Took a bit of getting used to the straps and how high the Snugpak rides, but now I have I prefer it as a day bag.

Anyone tried these Pods or this campsite ?

Not stayed in those pods - but have stayed in identical ones here: http://www.gorsebank.com/gorsebank_equestrian/Gorsebank_-_Camping_Cabins.html Fantastic alternative to camping - which extends your "camping" year. The ones we stayed in had a small electric heater (and a small fridge) and got...

Cheapest air rifle with scope for rats at 35 foot distance.

It seems rather steep to me. I got the same rifle with a decent enough SMK scope for £69 in Wells Next The Sea at M L Walsingham & Son. I got a bag on ebay for £13 delivered and a trigger lock for £5. The pellets are not cheap (£8.50 a tin) but very accurate and they pack a real punch

Cheapest air rifle with scope for rats at 35 foot distance.

I'd add my vote to Spikey's suggestion. Get yourself one of those and a tin of these, and Robert is your father's brother: Oh and the old wisdom was ".22 for fur, .177 for feather". Or you could borrow a cat... one of ours decapitates rats and leaves them on the doorstep... Good luck!

    Titanium Stove for 14.99

Bought one in Sports Direct in Leeds. Had no bar code on it, and nobody in the shop knew what it was or how much it should be. The manager suggested £3 and I didn't haggle...:) It is very light and roars nicely when turned up full. Not that convinced that the container that comes with it will...

    Crusader cooking system

I was lucky enough to be given one of these for Christmas. I've had it out a couple of times since then and cannot recommend highly enough - superb! BCB missed a trick here and should have listened to feedback about the plastic "lid" jobby, ditched it and made these. It's a US firm "Heavy...

I'm not clear how this is spam, ged... I am going to have to go to IKEA soon and plan to look for this book on the shelves. Even if they won't let me take a copy home I can sit down on a PLOPPA sofa, look at the pictures and dream of being in a better place...

"Survive: The Disaster, Crisis and Emergency Handbook" by Jerry Ahern Review

Because it's Japan... I honestly believe that if anything like that had happened here (or the US) looters would have been out getting what they could from wherever they could within hours. It is a different culture. Our "culture" is best represented by the chalk Cerne Abbas giant: That IS a...
