    Any Shotgun Experts?

You could take it into the shop at Minsterley ranges. Just down the road from me. The Bog, Minsterley, Shrewsbury SY5 0NJ I got a couple of semi-autos but I am just a fun shooter. Blew away a pole cat a couple years back after it took my best birds. :cop:

    Driveway Alarm PHYSEN

If I switch it off and then forget! I can switch it back on the next day and then just press a button and it resets. No battery in the plug in bit. If you want to change the tune you need to get them close to each other so I don't bother as that would be hassle for me. Only works when plugged in...

    Driveway Alarm PHYSEN

Had this 7 months now and still on original batteries. Great bit of kit. The guy delivering my logs asked how I knew he was there as he usually just drops and goes. When I explained he wanted the details for his own home. I can hear it in bed as its in a room under my bedroom and its mounted by...

Thanks for all the comments. Tomorrow I will dig up both clumps and move to the garden. I think a lot of stuff is lost to grazing. I have a separate wildlife field but even that is opened up to sheep mid July. If I get any flowers this year I will post them.

    Mechanix Gloves for hot work

I had some mechanix gloves but they were not the best when using the log burner. Great for shooting/driving and lighter more dexterous tasks. Have used all sorts but the best for your buck, longevity and most tasks I find our these on Ebay. Sadly only medium left. £8.95 delivered. Made in...

    Oiling my axe handle

That's what I try and practice. I always wonder if those rags really do burst into flames as I have quite a few lying about. I hope that's not true.

Not Crocus, no flowers and all my Crocus flowered a while back. I might dig up a bunch and pot them. See what happens. I grow Chives in pots but not like these. My Chives are also in flower now. Maybe chance biting into one of the leaves. See if the other half's up to volunteer.

Carrying an axe in the UK - In sight

That made me smile. I still have the folder I took of an idiot in London 35 years ago. Still use it in the garden. Always makes me smile. I have no legal right to it but I judged it was safer in my hands. Happy days. :cop:

OOS. Sort of thing I would buy. They had a Russian shop in Holborn, London many years ago. Used to love going in there.

Middle of an exposed hill pasture. Leaves about 6 inches long with a central white stripe. Feels like the leaf of a bulb. I have sheep coming in a couple of weeks and after that, like every year, it will be gone. I would like to know what it is. pas1%20by%20kymco%20kid,%20on%20Flickr']pas1 by...

Carrying an axe in the UK - In sight

What you are doing looks fine but I always tuck things away. No point in taking a chance with Joe public or any other jobsworth. Spoils our pleasure, I know but it saves any grief. Just MO.

A walk in the Wood - and Seasonal Firsts

Our Bluebells have started as well. What really stands out is the Gorse. I have been saying for years I am going to cut it back and have a burn up but when I see it like this, I'm not sure. We do have rather a lot of it. gor1%20by%20kymco%20kid,%20on%20Flickr']gor1 by kymco kid, on Flickr[/URL]...
