I've just started a pottery class, and I'm having quite a bit of fun with it. I'll post pics when I can. I've been doing handbuilding (slabs, coils) and have just started the wheel. I was just wondering whether anyone else has tried it. (not sure how bushcrafty it is though).

An old axe I found and knocked the handle out of has ridges inside the eye, preventing me from getting a new handle on. Does anyone have any ideas of how to rehandle it? I can't seem to get one in. It's a really old one, with no brand, so I can't buy a new one.

I was wondering if they'd be good for hammocking, particularly the 6'X8' model (1.8X2.4 M). I don't have that much money for an expensive tarp, and this one seems to fit to my budget quite nicely. I plan on using it with a Byer Moskito Hammock, along with Microropes.

I was just wondering why one would spend so much money on a knife, for example, the Woodlore, or a Fallkniven Idun. I'm wondering why something like a Woodlore is better, than lets, say, a Helle Sigmund.

I've found an old pocket knife, it's got black plastic handle scales, with Dégen printed on the side in yellow, it says Inox on the side of the blade, and Solingen on the other. I'll try to get pics up soon.
