Hi all im looking at making some ferro rods with my explorer scouts I've been looking around and have seen them on amazon /eBay for £10 for 10 just wondering if anyone knows anywhere I could grab them cheaper?
Thanks
Aaron
So over the bank holiday weekend I've picked some wild garlic and decided to make some soup with some sweet potato. I've got some garlic bread that's rising at the moment, I think it's my favourite wild food.
Like I said on my last post I would male some nettle soup so as I've gone out this morning and gathers the nettles now made it and the missus loves it which is unusual for her she normaly hates anything from the wild

Anybody got any opinions on the http://www.survivalaids.com/highlander-nomad-hammock-tarpaulin-system thinking of getting one it's about my budget with tarp as the tarp seems to be the most expensive part.
Hey all just a quick one, wondering what the 58 pattern poncho would be like size wise for use as a tarp for DD scout hammock as getting the hammock at end of month wonderd if I will need to get a new tarp as contemplating the British army basha at £19.95 on greenman bushcraft
Any responses...
