Not sure why but this bothers me.
1040 seems a strange number for amount of TeaBags.
But maybe they did it at weight. 3.25kg- equally a little strange.
Maybe this was an old school conversion between Ibs and Kilos?? No -7.16502352 Ibs...
I would have thought something as fundamentally British as Tea ( please stand whilst you hum the anthem) may have more lore and language to it? I mean - unless 3.25kg IS a bushel of Tea?
( Seems not -
8 dry US gallons
A bushel is a unit of volume commonly used in agriculture and trade. It is defined as 8 dry US gallons, which is equivalent to 64 pints or approximately 30.3 liters. The term can also refer to a container used to measure produce, such as a basket or barrel. Historically, the bushel has been used to measure various agricultural products, including wheat and corn, and has evolved from its medieval origins to a standardized measure in modern farming practices)
I agree. This answer is barely acceptable. But, it's the only justification I could find.

Not sure about this trying to pass 80 off as a 'traditional' number. The whole thing feels like we're being fobbed off, to be honest.
