Hi guys, ive just collected a few of these and got a recipe. It mentions that the syrup only keeps 'a few days' once opened, any idea how long it will last? could this be improved by adding a campden tablet? cheers.

Im not sure about using the leaves in the dark pot. I know for sure that this is used to make a very good (and rather smelly) plant food. I also thought that it was the roots of the compfry that you use.

Yeah the roots can be eaten if u cook them first, i have been eating the leaves giving them a quick fry with other greens before they go onto sandwhichs, and im feeling fine so i guess theyre not too poisenous!
