Your might try a chain of stationers called the Works, I've seen knot books in there for a couple of quid or less.

The Collins Gem ones are OK for starters too. I've found that you only really learn knots that you use all the time and the ones I use are in about 3 different books!

Hi,

Its not a book as such - but this website of animated knots is possibly more useful:
http://www.animatedknots.com/

As for a book - I have "Knots" by Gordon Perry ISBN: 1840134933,
which is very clear and in colour.

Printed by Grange Books in 2002. On Amazon as secondhand.

Cheers,
Jnc
