    Eden fest is on this weekend in Dumfries I've not been to it but it looks really good...I'm heading up to Applecross this weekend with bikes and looking to throw a tent up somewhere...that's if I manage to get there ok :o

    Thats not good!! Go see a doc and don't drink booze before bed. I know I just stay up out of boredom, taking advantage of kid free time and bad routine but sounds like you need a good checking over.

    I end up on facebook, I have friends in different time zones so can catch up with them, or I obsessively clean/decorate/put up shelves ...My bodyclock gets out of sync, I have a coupla late nights and can't get back into a sleep routine, nights get later and later until I don't go to bed at all...

    Funnily enough we were thinking of maybe going to Eden....I got as far as New Cumnock and phoned me dad for directions, my friend stayed an extra night so I was driving back alone so no distractions lol Got lots of next day drunken pics.....still got my skirt with 3 peg holes and a big rip...

    Apologies I have misread... You're right in that cyanobacteria can be destroyed by boiling however this can increase the toxins released particularly from microcystis...but to say that boiling at 100 degrees and in the case for cysts at least a minute is misleading, but you have pointed out...

    Sorry that should be microcystis not microcystins. Yep I know but the data given in the WHO guidelines is from 1998, and its a badly researched area as most cases of illness resulting from cyanobacteria are inconclusive due to people being unable to directly attribute their symptoms with them...
