Nettle rope

I'm going to have a go at spinning up some nettle for rope, but no idea how long you are supposed to leave it to dry out....does anyone know? or tried it?

I've not made rope with nettle but I've made plenty of string and usually just leave the nettle fibres in a dry place over night to dry out before using it.

pretty sure there's some videos on youtube about it. Ray mears made some string out of a similiar plant that was very fiberous. If your gonna make rope though, i think you might need quite a bit of nettles xD
