Where on earth are you coming from Drew to clock up 700 miles to Merthyr Mawr?
Even coming from Thurso, north Scotland it's less than 700 miles

Wooo... not long to go, plus that is me on holiday after today for 2 weeks. 
Got the strange temptation to hop down to Exeter for Endy's whilst I am down, but I think its 2 hours from the moot.
Very very rarely down that end of the country.

Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
I leave on Sunday night (sh1t, that's tomorrow night:yikes to get there Monday morning and I haven't packed anything yet.
So, Saturday will be spent sorting tools and equipment for the pre-moot courses, getting all the compo and pot noodles in a box, finding my bows and quiver, finding a fishing rod and tackle for my grandson, boxing up stuff for the bring and buy, packing my own personal kit, servicing the car then trying to pack it all in. I have a Ford Ka so unless it has Tardis qualities it should be fun.
We have decided to set out a 11.30pm on Sunday and drive through the night.
So not long now. I am soooooo looking forward to this, my first moot.

5 more hours of work... then done and dusted!
I just have to make it past the large pile of booze in the living room without making eye contact, get up in the morning, do a kit check, buy the odd's I've no doubt forgot and chill.
I have to admit, I'm a tad excited now.
