Sounds like a plan
man im looking forward to this!!

Be prepared to be fed by The Rough Close Naughty Corner !!!!!!!!!

This could get messy so i'll suggest i get all the stuff for the curry, we can divvy the cost out later, makes sense really. It'll be a chicken curry, is that ok with everyone? If some like a hot curry can i suggest you bring your own chillis and put them into your own portion ? it seemed to work better that way at RC.

In the woods if possible.
Right fellas ...
Friday night - Steak and chips with a side salad ...
Saturday AM - Mountainman Brekkie ...
PM - Curry made from scratch (meat to be decided) maybe with rice or naan ?
Your thoughts ?

If you're doing that I might just have to turn up unexpectedly again. And I'm a bread lover.
And a steak lover.
And a curry lover.
And... heck, just let me know what it'll cost me. :)

Cheers,
Ged.

Right fellas,
Group Meal

Who's up for it ? I've been chatting to Martink9 and we've come up with a few suggestions for the scran for Friday/Saturday.

Friday night - Steak and chips with a side salad (for all those health concious shrafters), maybe with a balsamic vinegar and honey dressing if i've time to knock one out.

Saturday AM - Mountainman Brekkie - inspired by Twodogs. (thanks Cliff)
PM - Curry made from scratch (meat to be decided) maybe with rice or naan ?
See here for curry http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42438&highlight=curry

Your thoughts ?

this all sounds pretty good to me, but i'll only be having a wafer thin slice of the mountain man brekkie, i'm fairly sure that i'm still digesting the last one.

cheers

It won't cost much Ged. Come and sit a spell.

If you fancy coming to mine and picking it up you can borrow my 23L cooking pot, it still has the smell of the first curry we done at RC and the blackened sides from the communal lol

Good idea Trigger, might just do that mate. Bet you ain't washed it either from the last time!!!!

Bushcraft and weight loss do not go together in the same sentence, lol;):D You don't need loads of gear bud, use what works for you, better than all the gear and no idea sorta thing. All my gear goes into a 40ltr patrol pack with 2 10 ltr side pouches.
