Looking for a new Bushcraft Knife from UK. Any suggestions besides Bernie Garland?

what are you after, custom or production, stick or full tang, modern or tradtional?
if your going for a custom id try stuart mitchell, his craftmanship look excellent.

if your going for production id go for a puukko, ultimate wilderness knives imo.

Very very very happy with the Martin Knives BT. I'm interested in a custom/handmade Bushcraft traditional or modern knife. Thanks for the suggestions...will look into.

Try Stuart Mitchell. One of the top end knife makers and third generation maker at that. He will communicate with you loads to get the perfect knife for you and your needs.

I've used Alan Wood loads and many other makers. Stu is the one I'd go to for THE knife that would be most personal to me.

You should consider what you will be using the "bushcraft" knife for. Wood carving, skinning, general campcraft, etc. I chose Ben Orford on reputation and because he's a outstanding green woodworker and toolsmith, and my priority was wood carving (which he knows a lot about...).

If the knife you desire is not just a plain scandi grind for wood carving, I would strongly suggest Dave Budd.

Given that Dave is an archaeologist and has made all manner and styles of knives from the beginning of iron working history, from Roman, Viking, Saxon etc, etc all the way to modern day. A conversation with him will give you a blade designed for the use intended backed up with the full history of European knife forging. Somewhere in history the knife you want was used by someone else and Dave will know what, when, where and who. I cannot recommend him strongly enough.

Take a peek at his site, second row down knives 3 and 4 were made for me notice the curve of the handle and the grip, all done to accommodate the damaged tendons in my hand. Neat and very well priced.

If you want very well priced and a solid working tool look at the Khukri House 'Churi' it is a very solid working tool, sabre, convex with secondary bevel. It is a ridiculous price for a hand forged blade.
