Yeah, 500 posts later and I like to think I`m a teeny weeny little bit wiser than I was a few years ago .

This was a great place to stumble upon one afternoon whilst googling for something or other, must have been something May Rears related.

I think my first couple of posts contained things like "I`m new to bushcraft and was wondering if anybody can tell where I can camp out" and "can anybody tell me how to tie a tarp to a tree"
Of course I got bombarded with links to previous threads but I`ve since discovered the joys of the Search button, also I`ve learnt to absorb as much as I can from those who know what they are talking about.

The wife first thought I had an internet girlfriend, now she knows most of the folk on here are axe weilding maniacs and is a lot happier about that.
