I think the reality is that most look at things like the Risk Register, follow things in the news and decide that they are probably a bit exposed.
I'm curious to know if that's the case. I've had a few discussions recently with people who've seen the latest government advice and are the types of people who don't have 3 days worth of basic supplies. After the news dies down I doubt they will change.
Those that I know who would cope haven't done so because of any advice or news, if anything going against the news over the last few years such as the hype around a cashless society.
I've tended to be fairly prepared due to personal experience and the fact I hate going shopping!
