getting out of costa pobre is my wish, although i doubt lack of funds will make it happen... (i quit my job as a tour guide just before christmas: despite being peak season i did not get ont tour in 2months (unlike all the other guides working for this company) and the supervisor's endless whining about my beard (75% of which are gone now...) were just annoying!)
What would that require?

Is that 75% of the guides gone or 75% of your beard hairs? DD :) xxxx

I'm hoping to hang on to my sanity for another year. If not I'll just have to join the rest of humanity.
yes I agree. My sanity comes and goes as a direct result of the rest of humanity. Thats probably my biggest goal. I did mention my health in my reply to this thread and sanity is a big part of that. Cheers for keeping me anchored to the all important basics. DD xxxx

where do you fancy going? x

i once had an Adolf Hitler moustache. I was lazy shaving, grew a beard and when I did get round to it I left the moustache. it looked good and i couldn't help but feel that Hitler has ruined a perfectly good style. x
i've been told more than once i look like Gandalf/ Moses/ the local mountain god (in south korea) and once an old cuban guy who knew Fidel Castro and Che Guevara personally (according to his claim and i daresay he wasn't bovine excrementing me) told me i looked like Leonid Trotsky...

It certainly isn’t something to be taken for granted. I rarely take a step outside without feeling gratitude that I am able to do so.

I enjoyed the mindfulness Moot but to me, all camps, walks and buggerings about are mindfulness meetings and I find myself saying thank you without hesitation or embarrassment.

No you don’t :)

You just stay away from anything overtly or titled “mindful”.

Edited to add:
That’s a compliment if you haven’t already recognised it.

Edited again:
Are you taking buggering about literally? My phone doesn’t show bold type very clearly.

I spend most of my time in camp metaphorically buggering about, it’s my second favourite activity after bugger all, which is my superpower.

I intend to do a lot of it in 2026
