Me and the missus are playing through the Witcher now. She has never completed it.

If it was still £50 it would be worth it.

Cyberpunk follows - Atrocious launch but arguably one of the best games ever made now.
Together or Solo alongside each other? I've heard theres a mod that allows multi player... Rachael (my lass) bought it too, but hasn't played it yet....

Yeah, i've heard Cyberpunk is good... Just not my kind of setting. I'm sure i'll play it one day though. With the steam sale i just picked up, Far Cry Primal, Assassins Creed Odyssey, Valhalla, Origins and Black Flag, all for less than a fiver each as base game, but i tend to want the expansions so pick them up as well (i haven't played an AC game before, So the way i see it, a years worth of gaming for £50... bargain. And on the recommendation of my son,.. Elden Ring and ER Nightreign... Considering getting Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 as well. Looks great, but my PC, which i consider to be fairly decent, is middling for that game.

Loving Witcher though!!

Elden Ring is brutally hard, but incredibly rewarding.

Go Mage if you want an easier intro. I say easier but it’s still hard.

I’ve done most of the AC games, Black Flag is my favourite by far.

I loved the first KCD but it has a steep learning curve.

My lad says go Samurai to start with as it has ranged and CC and some powerful stuff for breaking guards/stances... I have no clue, lol. I have heard its difficult though.

I've only just started with Witcher really, but went deep end Death March... It aint easy either!!!

Samurai has bleed but you still need to be good at the combat.

The Mage is very ranged and they hit hard, glass cannon in the beginning but then you can build a battle mage as you progress and get Swords which scale with Intelligence, these allow you to clear out lower enemies without expending focus points (Mana).

I love the Witcher, this will be the 3rd completion but I haven’t done the DLC before, which I’ve been told is arguably better than the main story.

I'm a fairly experienced gamer. Got 40 years under my belt across nearly all platforms from the Atari 2600 to high end (well, when i built this one in 2017) PC's. I do like a challenge... I generally prefer single player strategy type games... (Total war, Civ etc...) But really getting into other stuff lately. Don't know how, but managed to sink 2300 hours into red dead 2 from March to November. Saw a trailer for Sons of the Forest... 800 hours later... Witcher on sale lol... And here i am... HillBill of Rivia... I'm a keen lure fisherman, so my horse is called Perch!!

I built my current PC purely for strategy, Company of Heroes, Stronghold etc - I’m looking forward to Dawn of War 4 at the moment.

I like Turtle Defence strategy!

RDR2 is one of my faves, I presume you’ll be in line for GTA6?

I’m really enjoying the Witcher, the missus bought me a PS Portal for Christmas and being able to play at 60fps handheld is a real treat.

She is currently playing on her portal whilst watching Stranger Things!

I’m simultaneously playing and bending her ear about all the EDC stuff I’m about to order for my new Alpaka EDC backpack :p
