carving something for myself

[woodspirits]

its been a while since i carved anything, and have been trying to find the time for ages to do something for myself. so heres a thumbstick i made and will be a keeper, made out of hazel standing 60" x 1.5", i hope you like it and thanks for looking.

I'm sure each stone and carving has its significant meaning to you, but I have to say that owl in particular is really superb. As Hamish says your wood spirits are second to none.

thanks for asking, yes they all have meaning... to me. the row on the front are placed in order to function as chakra stones, the quartz in the fork can imbue positivity. take a look on line if your interested and inclined. were not talking bolts of lightening and a gandalf figure here!
