New/old gray beard from Alaska

[Arctic Grayling]

I am new to the Forum. I live in a log cabin in the middle of Alaska, 50km from Fairbanks near a really good stream full of Arctic grayling. I just retired from many years of working for the Alaska Dept. of Fish & Game. I enjoy fly tying and fishing, I also like birchbark sheath weaving and making Puukko style knives. I teach a class each summer on building a birch bark handle on a Mora carving knife at place called Week In The Woods. www.weekinthewoods.org
I am here to pick up and learn about things in northern lands on that side of the world.
