We Made A Big Mistake

I went to the Bedfordshire Country Show at Old Warden today with the little wifey... Had a great time there despite the mud

As it was only 15 minutes from Man Of Tanith's house Sam and I decided it would be sensible if we popped by afterwards to do a swap of some large kit that we've been trying to organise for some time.

It went well until Sam and I popped out to put the frontier stove I was taking home in my car and that's where it went wrong... we left our respective beloved ladies together... ALONE!!! :yikes:

Apparently the discussion got extremely mean about how bushcraft kit filled the house and we never put it away properly...

Luckily they weren't alone for too long so hopefully not much damage has been done and we won't suffer too badly

Anyway I think we've learnt our lesson and shall conduct our swaps out of sight of the lady folks in the future

I was following this thread until you said something about putting kit away properly. You lost me at that point.

Putting kit away? Properly? I don't think I've come across those terms before. Whatever they mean, something about them just doesn't sound right to me.

I'm confused, so I'm off for the evening, assuming I can get to the door without falling over some kit...

My missus makes me use a designated cupboard for my kit, and then moans at me when the cuboard door is always left open and there are wood chips from carving on the living room floor .
You just cant win no matter how hard you try (she still loves me tho )

When my first wife filed for divorce , one of the reason she put down in the divorce paper was being fed up with kit all over the house . errrrrm so I think its quite good now I use a cupboard and have less kit than I used to
