Milton Keynes
Hi All,

I have always enjoyed hiking and camping and I would now like to move to more wild camping and bushcraft. i have a couple of questions:
1) whats the best way to get started?
2) is there any woodland near Milton Keynes where i can practice / wild camp?

Thanks all.

Best bet is to get the permission of a local land owner....

2nd best bet is to check out Salcey forest

http://www.forestry.gov.uk/salceyforest

Being Forestry commission, I doubt you would be able to camp there without permission...but the place is huge and if you don't leave rubbish lying around or behind.... ;)

You might need to get someone to drop you off though and pick you up, as I wouldn't want to leave my car around unattended overnight.
