Woodland Camping Milton Keynes

Hi All,

I have always enjoyed hiking and camping and I would now like to move to more wild camping and bushcraft. i have a couple of questions:
1) whats the best way to get started?
2) is there any woodland near Milton Keynes where i can practice / wild camp?

I suggest you download google earth. you can scout out some good woodland using google earth.

Best bet is to get the permission of a local land owner....

2nd best bet is to check out Salcey forest

Being Forestry commission, I doubt you would be able to camp there without permission...but the place is huge and if you don't leave rubbish lying around or behind....

You might need to get someone to drop you off though and pick you up, as I wouldn't want to leave my car around unattended overnight.
