Just finished turning this. It's made from amazique. I am waiting for some more to arrive so that i can make a cap for the lens. I've got some oak and spalted beech so i will be making some more.

That's lovely that is Mr T. Really nice. I've a shaving soap bowl in the same wood which I've had for years, pretty tough stuff. You'll have to keep us all happy and post up more pics once you've done the lens cap. Hope you don't mind me asking but how is the lens kept in place? Push fit or is there something underside we don't see?
