I have had some difficulty finding decent outdoor footwear in sizes small enough for me. For years I wore a pair (well, 3 pairs, I actually wore them out) of Hi-Tec Magnums, year round, Sun, Rain, Wind, Snow. Couple with the right choice of socks, and they were fantastic.
These days tho as I've been shedding weight off the pack, I have moved from boots to an approach shoe, again year round. If it's really cold I have been known to put my weezle dive suit boots on inside the shoe. But I digress.
I keep looking at the Brasher hillmaster boot, they do a ladies version, tho I notice that they no longer make a non goretex version
